This collection contains audio recordings of music performances at the Missouri Music Educators Association from 1976 to 1993. Many of the recordings are performed by Missouri high school bands and were directed by Larry Pohlman.
The LeRoy Pogemiller Collection was transferred to LaBudde Special Collections from UMKC University Archives. It is in two series, each organized alphabetically by file name. Personal/Professional includes documents from Pogemiller’s personal life and professional career. Gasparini Research includes materials related to Pogemiller’s dissertation and career long involvement with the works of Italian Baroque composer Francesco Gasparini (1661-1727).

The collection also consists of jazz festival recordings, including the Mid-America Jazz Festival, Wichita Jazz Festival, Jazz Olympics, and the Kansas City Women's Jazz Festival.
The content is from 1940-1952 and includes presidential addresses by Harry S Truman and F.D.R. as well as recordings of the 140th Infantry Band conducted by Lt. O.T. Honey. The paper materials of this collection are housed at the Missouri State Archives as the O.T. Honey National Guard Collection (MS172).
