This record group series contains Ernest H. Newcomb's personal papers, general office files, correspondence, scrapbooks, administrative reports, bulletins, financial documents, and diaries from when he served as the executive secretary to the University of Kansas City's Board of Trustees, dated 1919-1937. Items included in the collection after Newcomb's death in 1979 are related to the University of Missouri--Kansas City dedicating a campus building in his honor in the 1980s.

However, they have since been kept at the University Archives as historical artifacts and memorabilia because they have historical research interest.
