The E. Grey Dimond Papers contain correspondence, general office files, publications, and audiovisual materials related to Dimond's professional activities at the University of Missouri-Kansas City's School of Medicine, the University of Kansas School of Medicine, the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, and the American College of Cardiology. His personal papers include files related to his early life, his family and household, and his China trips.

This record group series contains Ernest H. Newcomb's personal papers, general office files, correspondence, scrapbooks, administrative reports, bulletins, financial documents, and diaries from when he served as the executive secretary to the University of Kansas City's Board of Trustees, dated 1919-1937. Items included in the collection after Newcomb's death in 1979 are related to the University of Missouri--Kansas City dedicating a campus building in his honor in the 1980s.

The Lucerna Undergraduate Research Journal collection contains volumes of the UMKC Honors Program's interdisciplinary research journal. It has published 152 undergraduates' scholarship since the Honors Program introduced the journal in 2006. The collection includes volumes dated between 2009 to the present.

The New Letters Records contain administrative documents related to creating, editing, and publishing the literary magazine.

This series contains course catalogs for what is now the School of Dentistry prior to its merger with the University of Kansas City in 1941. Catalogs include ones for the Western Dental College for 1890-1891 through 1918-1919; the Kansas City Dental College for 1894 through 1917-1918; the Kansas City Western Dental College for 1919-1920 through 1940; and the University of Kansas City School of Dentistry for 1941-1959 and 1978-1979.

The School of Dentistry Registrar Records series contains alumni lists dating between 1859 and 1980.

This collection consists of student published yearbooks for the Kansas City School of Law. All of the yearbooks in this collection were published prior to the K.C. School of Law's merger with the University of Kansas City in 1938. The 1912-1913, 1915 and 1922 yearbooks are restricted for use due to physical condition. The publications date from 1906 to 1957, from before the institution merged with the University of Kansas City in 1959.

However, they have since been kept at the University Archives as historical artifacts and memorabilia because they have historical research interest. This collection includes news articles about the University of Kansas City and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

The UMKC University Archives Subject Files is an artificial collection of documents related to the University of Missouri-Kansas City's history and operations. The files contain articles, internal university documents, newspaper clippings, and other materials related to university offices, departments, centers, and institutes; academic programs; university personnel; student activities; and major campus events.

This record group sub-series includes Alumni News, Alumnus, and Alumni News Editions of the University of Kansas City Bulletin and the University of Missouri--Kansas City Bulletin. These Alumni Bulletins date between 1947 and 1973.

This record group series includes annual reports, financial reports, "state of the university" reports, presidents' reports, and chancellors' reports dated between 1936 and 1986. These reports were issued by the University of Kansas City Board of Trustees; the University of Kansas City Office of the University President; and the University of Missouri--Kansas City Office of the University Chancellor.
