Dr. Corliss Lamont Papers
Scope and Contents
This material was donated by Dr. Corliss Lamont, a New Jersey neighbor of Edgar Snow's, and was removed from the Mary Clark Dimond Papers in July 1985.
This material consists of correspondence between Edgar Snow and Corliss Lamont regarding Snow's trips to China in 1956 and 1970. Correspondence also includes an exchange between Lamont and his lawyer concerning the use of Lamont's land for a neighborhood playground, and an account of a Snow memorial ceremony in Sneden's Landing, New York in 1974.
