Scope and Contents

This collection contains research material on international journalist Edgar Snow compiled by University of Missouri-Kansas City Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and International Affairs Henry Mitchell. The collection includes correspondence, photographs, transcripts, books, and records created by or about Edgar Snow. Of note are four folders containing reproduced material from Edgar Snow's official Federal Bureau of Investigation file. Senstitive and classified information had been redacted or removed prior to Dr. Mitchell receiving reproductions of records. Some of the pages in the files are illegible.
