This material was donated by Howard Snow and removed from the Mary Clark Dimond Papers in July 1985. This correspondence concerns the Red Army and the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1935, Edgar's visit to the U.N. Security Council, Point Four, U.S. political climate and economy, his difficulties in avoiding controversy in his writing, and his autobiography in progress.
