Addendum A consists of photographs and scrapbook pages of Dave Dexter, Sr. (father), donated by Dexter, Sr.’s niece Marjie (Dexter) Podzielinski. Except for a few photos of Dexter Sr., most photographs remain unidentified. Acquired in 2007. Material is housed in box 3, folder 1.

Addendum B consists of material from John Reynolds, researcher/scholar on folk/blues musician Lead Belly; includes correspondence with Dexter (1956-63); news clippings/articles, photos and miscellaneous documents related to Lead Belly, Capitol Records and other affairs. Acquired June 2009; includes letter from Reynolds to Stuart Hinds, Head of Special Collections, regarding donated material. Material is housed in box 3, folder 2.

Scope and Contents Addendum C consists of material from Michel “Mitch” Montet, a French writer and self-proclaimed “Capitol-maniac.” Included are an unedited and unpublished transcript of a conversation between Montet and Dexter from 1977; a profile of the golden years of Capitol Records written in French; two pieces written for the Johnny Mercer (Capitol co-founder) centennial; an essay about Montet’s meeting with the late Willis Conover, producer/broadcaster best known for Voice of America, the official...
