Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series is divided into two sub-series. The first is located in box 1, folders 4-7; and holds correspondence of the McLean family. Letters are addressed to Lutie Bennett, J.W. McLean, Jerome Bennett and others. The second is located in box 1, folders 8-12; and oversize box 4, folder 4. It relates to miscellaneous family papers such as lodge certificates, letters of introduction, marriage certificates and Erwin McLean’s biology workbook.

This series is located in box 1, folders 19-23; and box 4, folder 3. This series starts out with a fun scrapbook of the McLean Band Shop. Also included are office stationery, instrument catalogs and some promotional memorabilia, such as a deck of cards and a quirky little billfold with flying geese on the cover.

This series is located in box 1, folders 24-29; box 2; and box 4, folder 2. Contained are items that do not fit in with any previous series. Included are McLean bookplates, engraving plates for calling cards, news items, family bibles, school spelling exercises for Martha Jane McLean, silhouette rendering of Erwin McLean Hepler and other miscellaneous items.
