This series contains some forty letters addressed to Margaret, Roy’s wife, and are of a personal nature. Dates range from circa 1870s to 1914. This series contains letters addressed to Ruth Margaret Roy from family and friends. Dating from 1910 to 1921, the approximate 31 letters are mostly from Margaret and Reuben Roy, her parents. Letters from her parents were written 1920-1921, during her second year in college at Lindenwood in St. Charles, Missouri. There is a great deal of discussion on fashions of the day and sewing, as well as references to social functions and girls’ culture of the time. Located in Box 3, Folders 2-4.
