The collection primarily consists of several hundred engravings, although other printmaking formats are represented including etchings, lithographs and photogravures. Subject matter includes: 18th and 19th century editions of the Arabian Nights, which had been collected by Mrs. Jones; portraits of known and unknown people, including over ten prints of Queen Victoria both as a woman and a child; Napoleonic, Romantic Orientalism, Religious, Egyptian and Miscellaneous. The collection also includes four original sketchbooks and one original scrapbook of sketches, all filled with pen/pencil sketches and illustrations of landscapes and animals. Each book is by a different artist. A highlight of the collection is a book titled The Ghosts of my Friends, a blank book that is filled with signatures written in ink that have been folded in half to create ghost-like images.
