Scope and Contents
These letters discuss John’s frustrations with not getting to return home. Contained within the folder is an official transfer card stating that John A. Beauchamp has been transferred to Domremy-Mueese, France, February 2, 1919. On February 9th John writes that he has been hospitalized for a cold in the nearby town of Commercy, France. He remains there until May 4 under quarantine due to an outbreak of Mumps. On March 10 John arrived in Bonne Table, France where he remained until returning home. The last letter is dated March 24, 1919.
