Photos in UMKC Digital Special Collections

Contained in photo boxes 1-45, oversized photo box 46, and oversized drawer 31. There are over 2000 photographs (color and black-and-white) in the collection documenting Bolling's life and career in the United States Congress from 1949-1983. They feature Bolling with many important United States politicians of the 20th century. Included are photographs of Bolling giving speeches and meeting with constituents in Kansas City as well as images of his participation on several House Congressional committees. The photographs also show Bolling with numerous other political personalities and their staffs and include a number of signed photographs of many of the United States Congressional representatives he worked with. Addendum 1 material is contained in Box 444, Folder 9, Box 445 (all), Box 442, Folders 2 and 8; and consists of many photos of Bolling, some photos of the likes of Robert F. Kennedy (RFK), Astronauts Jack R. Lousma C. and Gordon Fullerton, and Jimmy Carter. Some are signed by the likes of Kennedy, Lousma and Fullerton, Thomas "Tip" O'Neill and Dick Gephardt.
