Contained in box 2a, folders 3-14, with oversized material in box 5. Material consists of KMBC publications and ephemera as well as other various items. Included are a blue book, Radio Listeners Atlas, issues of Listening Post (external station newsletter), issues of Heartbeats (internal station newsletter), news clippings, music manuscripts (and sheet music, which has been integrated into LaBudde Special Collections’ Sheet Music Collection), mailings from radio station KWTO Springfield, Missouri, and other miscellaneous items. Addendum 1 material consists of laboratory manuals for the Central Radio and Television Schools. Addendum 5 material consists of an invitation to the 1951 KMBC building dedication. Addendum 6 material consists of a KMBC flyer. Addendum 7 material consists of items related to Mark Norman Smith, Director of Market Research for KMBC, as well as a magazine article about KMBC. Addendum 9 material consists of items related to Arthur B. Church and KMBC, including an interview, a memorial certificate, documents and forms about various talent and practices, station booklets, and other ephemera. Addendum 10 material consists of correspondence with Darlene Roberts, who was with the Brush Creek Follies program in the 1950s. Addendum 11 material consists of a 1967 article about Joe Story.
