Scope and Contents

This folder contains a plastic envelope that itself contains three items: a catalog card, an autograph of the composer, and a strip of paper describing the composers. The catalog card contains the order date of December 18, 1971, a price of $18.59, and a vendor indicated as Goodspeed. The Autograph is on a small piece of paper dedicated, “faithfully yours.” The strip of paper states, “Ethelbert Nevin. American Composer. Nevin’s Good Night, The Gondoliers, and Narcissus were a few of his compositions. These items were donated to the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Institute for Studies in American Music by the Janet Boone Service Club, 1972.
