Hans Von Bülow, 1884

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 3

Scope and Contents

In addition to a photograph of the composer, this folder contains a hand written letter to an unknown recipient. In the letter Bülow explains that he no longer taught private piano lessons because he had recently accepted a position at the Raff Conservatory. In order to further illustrate his point, Bülow included a copy of a newspaper clipping advertising the announcement of his new position. This newspaper clipping was taken from a Frankfurt newspaper dated March 1884. The letter bares the composers autograph, as well as the date April 13th, 1884.
