Photographs, 1900s-1976
Scope and Contents
This series contains over 1,100 images ranging in date from approximately 1890 - 2003. Photographs are housed in Photo Boxes 1 - 6. Photo Box 1 contains files of photos that correspond to Dorothy Johnson's genealogical research. Photo Boxes 2 - 5 contain general photographs. A significant number of photographs are presumed to have been taken by Johnson's first husband Dowdal H. Davis, as they detail much of his adolescence and early adulthood years, as well as many artistic photographs he took during that time. Photo Box 4 also contains negatives from the collection. Photo Box 6 is a scapbook of the earliest years of Dorothy Johnson's life, and depict Johnson as a toddler and young girl.
