Scope and Contents

The Florence Anderson DuPage Collection was donated to the University of Missouri-Kansas City by Florence DuPage on March 27, 1998. The collection is located in the LaBudde Special Collections of the Miller Nichols Library. The collection contains 20 boxes and is divided into four series: correspondence, general documents, photographs, and music. The correspondence series contains both personal and professional matter. The miscellaneous series contains an array of items: contracts, pamphlets, programs, newspaper clippings, and notebooks. The photograph series contains 17 images, both snapshots and studio portraits, related to her life and career. The music series is the greatest and richest part of the collection. It includes manuscript scores with opus numbers and no opus numbers, various copies of the manuscript scores, librettos, drafts, miscellaneous manuscripts scores and oversized manuscript scores.
