This series is contained in box 1, folders 10-17; boxes 2-4; box 5, folders 1-19; and oversized box 1. This series includes Jerome’s own publications, research, lectures, and teaching materials, as well as both her master’s thesis and her doctoral dissertation. The publications are divided by topic. This series also includes Jerome’s book, Nutritional Anthropology, which she coauthored with Randy F. Kandel and Gretel H. Pelto. The largest topics of research that are included in this section are her research on food preference, her extensive and far-reaching research for the Agency for International Development (AID), and her research that focuses on children’s television advertising. It includes teaching materials from her Preventive Medicine courses at the University of Kansas, and from her lectures at the Colorado Dietetic Association and the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. It also includes her resources from the two nutrition tracking resources she developed—Nutra-Net and NutriCheck. It also includes information from the Johnson County Commission on Aging, which she was affiliated with in the early 2000s.
