Notes from an interview (Typed Manuscript, 2 pages). Dr. John F. Ramos, Jr. was a physician and a member of the Kansas City School Board, elected in 1964. He served with the Board until he died in 1970. Given the interview is centered around his communications with the Board of Education. Dr. Ramos describes the aftermath of the Lincoln High School gassings by police, and the subsequent meetings and steps that were taken by the Board of Education and the Police Board of Commissioners to address it.
