Notes from an interview with Jeanie Meyer, (Typed Manuscript, 7 pages). Rev. Blount was the pastor of a Methodist church in North Kansas City during the time of the Uprising. He was asked by MICA (Metropolitan Inter-Church Agency) to serve in one of many groups consisting of a legal aide, social worker, and minister, at local police precinct stations to help those arrested.
