For A Cool Place to; DINE AND DANCE; Visit The Subway Nite Club; 1516 E. 18th Street.” Includes promotions for George E. Lee and his Brunswick Recording Orchestra on Tuesday night, Bennie Moten’s Carnival on Friday night, and “the Best Nite Club Band in the city” Earl Garner and his Foot Warmers featuring Emile Williams “tickling the Ivories” and Miss Henriene Shaw, “Clever Entertainer”; Mr. Edward Brown, manager; Mr. Sullivan Robertson, assistant manager.
