Scope and Contents
Series is located in boxes 13-17, and it contains various professional and academic documents. It is subdivided into seven sections. The first section, full of general and miscellaneous documents, is the most varied and includes Mobberley’s dissertation, a handful of photographs, and the finding aid that Mobberley himself made for the compositions. The following sections are correspondence (mostly professional with some personal) and academic activity reports from UMKC. Following this are various financial documents, including contracts and grants received. The subsequent section is various academic and professional proposals. After this are newspaper clippings from the 1970s through the 2000s, as well as other miscellaneous oversized material. Finally, there are two copies of two books on musicianship, co-written by Mobberley, and presented as items for his tenure application.
