This series is contained in boxes 1-13. It holds manuscript scores and copies of manuscripts composed by Raymond Scott. The scores are in various stages including complete, incomplete, sketches and fragments. The instrumentations include piano scores, full orchestral scores, ensemble scores, piano/vocal scores, vocal scores and individual instrumental scores. Manuscripts are both in Scott’s hand and a copyist’s hand. Many of the manuscripts are not dated, but the ones that are range from 1943-1957. The This seriess divided into five sub-series: Lute Song Manuscripts, Jingles/Hit Parade, Quintet/Band/Orchestral Manuscripts, Other Manuscripts and Untitled Manuscripts. Items are arranged alphabetically by title (when possible) within each sub-series.
