Oversized and Template Poster Thumbnails (PDF)

Consists of concert circulars and promotional posters, contained in Poster Boxes 1-24 and Oversized Drawer 16. Paper flyers and paperboard concert posters chronicle shows at the Grand Emporium between 1985 and 2004, but also included are advertisements for non-Grand Emporium shows and events that Roger Naber booked as an independent promoter between 1979 and 2004. Glossy and matte promotional posters – stock templates distributed by a performer or representative entity that marketed the performer in general and, in some cases, provided write-in space for a venue to advertise a local show by the performer – were also collected by Naber during this period. Material is grouped by size first and then broken down as follows: Grand Emporium shows are grouped by principal performer and date, with secondary and opening acts noted; Grand Emporium shows with no clear headliner are grouped by first performer listed, with other performers noted; special events are grouped by date; non-Grand Emporium shows are grouped by venue name; promotional posters are grouped by performer name.
