Scope and Contents
This series contains biographical and other information about Jeannie and Jimmy Cheatham. Included are biographies, obituaries, astrological data, awards and recognitions, as well as material relating to Jimmy Cheatham’s role as a college instructor. Addendum 1 material contains a commemorative album, Museum of Making Music: An Evening of Note, dated September 26, 2009; and a Mayoral Proclamation, on the occasion of Jeannie Cheatham's return to Madison, Wisconsin ("Cheatham Day"). Addendum 3 material contains a certificate of special congressional recognition, presented to Jeannie Cheatham, Queen of the Kansas City Blues.
