This series is contained in box 2 and oversized box 3; and consists of 37 black-and-white and color-tinted images. Subject matter includes portrait and candid shots of the Eppersons and others; snapshots of the Epperson House under construction in the early 1920s; and images related to Epperson’s Megaphone Minstrels, a charitable troupe comprising prominent local business and civic leaders (and included white performers in blackface). Also included in this series is a copper-plated woodblock with a portrait impression of Epperson, housed in box 1.
