Biography

David Bruce MacDonald, born August 15, 1970, was a zinester, a debater, musician, and lyricist. During his lifetime, he had coauthored in making multiple political zines like Mediocre Rhyme Explosions, Fargo Planet, and Envy the Dead. MacDonald was also a member of a hip-hop group called the F-KRIPZ in which he and his peer Andrew Knighton collaborated to produce four music albums. His debut album How I Killed George Bush (1991) attracted attention from the Secret Service and the press for the use of its name. From 1994 to 1995, MacDonald worked as an assistant debate coach for University of Missouri-Kansas City and helped the team enter the national championship in both years.

David MacDonald died February 1, 1996 at age 25 in Kansas City, Missouri.
