Biography
Joseph Keehn is an artist as well as a library and museum professional. In addition to degrees in studio art and museum studies, Keehn is a graduate of UMKC with a PhD in history and currently works as Event Producer at the Johnson County Public Library in Johnson County, Kansas.

Scope and Contents
The collection consists entirely of five works by artist Joseph Keehn from his "Wig Portrait Series". The art pieces depict wig cutouts culled from source material, including original Jewel Box Lounge advertisements, and rendered with hair dye on stained wood panels.
