Biography

An Wei worked as the curator and translator for The Yenan Hui project with Helen Foster Snow and Margaret Stanley. She is a member of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship With Foreign Countries. He was a guide and interpreter for Helen Snow upon her return to China in 1978 and has translated her writing into Chinese. He also served as guide and interpreter for Margaret Stanley and the American Friends Service Committee delegation when the committee visited Yenan in 1972. Wei was a visiting Scholar-in-Residence at Trinity College in Hartfort, Connecticut in 1985-1986.
