Biography
Kuan-Mien Lu had a leadership role in Indusco, or the Chinese Industrial Cooperative Association. Indusco was founded in 1938 by foreign and Chinese activists to establish Chinese grassroots industrial cooperatives during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945).

These materials were donated by Kuan-Mien Lu and removed from the Mary Clark Dimond Papers in July 1985.This folder contains correspondence from Kuan-Mien Lu to Mary Clark Dimond concerning the UMKC commencement honoring Edgar Snow, and Lu's visit to the United States.
