Biography
Morris Rosenzweig was born in 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He pursued studies at the Eastman School of Music, the University of Pennsylvania, and Columbia University. A 1996 Guggenheim and Academy Award from the Academy of Arts and Letters are just two of his many accolades. Rosenzweig currently works as a Professor of Music at the University of Utah. He has composed for orchestra, chamber ensembles, solo vocal and instrumental, and one opera.
