Biography

Lewis Reuben Rowland was born August 3, 1910, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Louis Nepolian Rowland and Mary Roseltha (Goggin) Rowland. Rowland was a graduate of Paseo High School in Kansas City in 1929, served as an Army Air Force flight instructor during World War II, and retired in 1975 from Middle West Freight Bureau where he worked as a rate analyst. Rowland passed away January 24, 2003, at the age of 92.
