Biography
Marga Richter was born October 21, 1926 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. She attended the Juilliard School for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Composition and she studied with William Bergsma and Vincent Persichetti. Richter’s compositions include three ballets, one opera, works for orchestra, band, chamber music, solo instruments, and vocal music.
