Biography

Richard Miles Ware was born December 12, 1919, in Cement, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Westport High School in 1937 and later attended junior college. Ware entered the cavalry at Fort Leavenworth in 1942 as an officer candidate. He retired from the Air Force Reserve as a full Colonel in 1974. He was director of material at the 442nd Military Airlift Wing at Richards Gebaur Air Force Base. After World War II, Ware was a sales and promotion representative for RCA, Capitol and Columbia Records. He was a great favorite with his customers and all the artists. Ware passed away September 2, 2011.
