John E. Lynn was a General Passenger Agent for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad office located in Kansas City. He worked for the railroad company in excess of 40 years. He was born May 11, 1882 in Iowa. His father was a native of Sweden and his mother was born in Iowa. The 1930 census shows John married to Agnes V. Lynn, with two children: John N., age 16 and Elizabeth L., age 7. At that time they were living in Minneapolis, MN.
