Biography
Emerson Cornelius Boldridge was born May 23, 1924 in Lexington, Louisiana. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943, serving until 1946. He spent a substantial part of his life in the Kansas City area. Throughout his life he was an avid collector of a variety of musical genres and mediums. During his later years he volunteered with the UMKC libraries and Marr Sound Archives. He died in Kansas City, MO on July 22, 2007.
