Biography
Judith Lang Zaimont was a composer and pianist born November 8, 1945 in Memphis, Tennessee. She studied piano at the Julliard School form 1958-1964 and went on to study compositions at Queens College, CUNY, and Columbia University. She studied composition with Hugo Weisgall and Otto Luening. Zaimont studied orchestration with André Jolivet in Paris.
