Biography
Danny ""Dan"" Conn was born in Beloit, Kansas, on September 8, 1950. He grew up in Osborne, Kansas, and graduated from Osborne Rural High School. He worked in the retail music industry over 30 years, most notably at the Music Exchange in Kansas City. Dan Conn passed away February 2, 2006.

The David Dean Conn Collection was a gift of the David Conn estate in July 2010. The collection contains materials related to Conn’s music profession while working at the Music Exchange record store and Handleman Music Distributors, both located in Kansas City.
